LEAVENWORTH — The Leavenworth Mountain Association and Rotten Apple have announced the return of Rockfest 2025, Washington’s largest rock climbing festival, set to take place in Leavenworth on May 3 and 4.
The festival will be hosted at the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, located at 7409 Icicle Road. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including live music, food and drinks, vendors, expert speakers, climbing clinics, and a thrilling bouldering competition. General admission tickets begin at $35, with clinic prices starting higher.
For those looking to extend their visit, nearby campgrounds provide a convenient place to stay. On Sunday, participants will also have the chance to give back by taking part in stewardship efforts.
On Saturday, North Cascade Mountain Guides will lead two clinics at Icicle Canyon. The first clinic starts at 8 a.m., and the second begins at 1 p.m. The clinics will cover a range of climbing topics such as multi-pitch efficiency, traditional anchors, top-rope anchors, traditional leading, rappelling techniques, and bouldering skills.
The event will feature a keynote address by Peter Croft, a renowned climber with The North Face, known for his appearance in the Free Solo documentary.
