UCI Pump Track World Championship Qualifiers Set for This Weekend

SUGAR LAND, Texas — The 2025 Velosolutions UCI Pump Track World Championships Qualifier will take place this weekend, April 26-27, in Sugar Land, Texas. This event marks the first of only three U.S. stops on this year’s global tour.

The competition will bring together elite BMX and mountain bike (MTB) riders, as well as local talent and aspiring racers, for two days of thrilling racing and community celebrations. The event will be held at the Velosolutions Pump Track in Crown Festival Park, featuring both beginner and advanced tracks designed to test speed, skill, and strategy.

Saturday’s schedule begins with kids’ races, followed by a community celebration, part of the Parks Event Series, titled “Bikes & Brews.” On Sunday, the Elite races will offer competitors the chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Switzerland to compete in the World Championship.

In addition to the racing, the weekend offers plenty of activities for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Attendees can explore Sugar Land’s outdoor attractions, such as the Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park, scenic mountain bike trails, interactive public art displays, and Constellation Field, home to the Space Cowboys, the Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros.
