CORYDON, Ind. — SHUT NYC, a renowned skateboard brand with deep ties to New York City’s skateboarding culture, is moving its production operations to Corydon, Indiana, according to a press release.
Bookends Mgmt., LLC, owned by Michael Keenan and Rob Zseleczky, will oversee the brand’s continued legacy in the Midwest. The company announced on Tuesday that SHUT NYC’s skateboard apparel and merchandise production will now take place in Corydon, marking a significant shift from its New York roots.
“We’re excited to bring SHUT NYC to the Corydon community,” Keenan and Zseleczky said. “This move allows us to expand in the action sports market while maintaining SHUT’s core values of authenticity and innovation. Relocating to Corydon helps us improve efficiency without sacrificing what makes SHUT NYC a cherished brand in skateboarding.”
Along with relocating production, Bookends Mgmt. has partnered with 4Ink Screen Printing, a local company in Corydon, to handle all merchandise and apparel production. 4Ink will create SHUT NYC-branded products, including T-shirts, hoodies, and accessories, ensuring that fans continue to have access to the brand’s iconic styles.
