PARK CITY, Utah — Professional skateboarder Ryan Sheckler is set to return to Woodward Park City this summer to lead a weeklong youth training camp from June 23–27.
Sheckler, a three-time X Games gold medalist, will mentor young skateboarders aged 7 to 17, regardless of skill level, during the five-day program. Campers will train across Woodward Park City’s indoor and outdoor facilities, including concrete parks, pump tracks, and mini ramps. Each day will feature skill-building workshops, personalized coaching, and opportunities to skate alongside Sheckler. According to event organizers, the program focuses on safety, progression, and building confidence.
Elevating Youth Skateboarding Development
“Ryan’s involvement as our Skateboarding Program Designer across all of Woodward’s camps has elevated our curriculum to new heights,” said Chris “Gunny” Gunnarson, president of Woodward. “His approach to mentorship and progression aligns perfectly with our mission to inspire and empower young athletes.”
Sessions will take place daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., with early drop-off options available. Registration fees start at $499 per week for Woodward Park City members and $649 for non-members. To ensure quality instruction, attendance is capped to maintain a low coach-to-camper ratio.
