The Kwahu Paragliding Festival, a popular international event that draws thousands of tourists to Ghana, is preparing for its highly anticipated 20th edition. The festival will take place from April 18 to 21, 2025, running daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the scenic summit of the Odweanoma Mountains in Atibie-Kwahu.
Organized annually by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) under the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, the event is supported by the Ghana Tourist Development Company. Additional collaborators include the Kwahu East, Kwahu West, and Kwahu South municipal assemblies, the Kwahu Development Association, Kwahu Tourism Initiative, and the Kwahu Traditional Council.
This year’s festival promises to offer an exciting adventure for both thrill-seekers and visitors, solidifying its status as a key highlight in Ghana’s tourism calendar.
