The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series will return to France’s Haute-Savoie region in August 2025, with Morillon and Les Gets set to host two consecutive weekends of thrilling racing.
The action will kick off from August 22-24 in Morillon, which will make its debut on the World Cup circuit by hosting the final round of the UCI Enduro World Cup. The venue recently invested in an Enduro Bike Park, and its forested trails will be the stage for competitors vying for the 2025 overall title.
From August 28-31, the competition moves to Les Gets, where riders will compete in Downhill, Cross-country Olympic, and Cross-country Short Track events. Les Gets has a long-standing history in World Cup racing, dating back to 1996 when it first hosted a Downhill round. Over the years, the venue has seen iconic riders such as Nicolas Vouilloz, Steve Peat, and Anne-Caroline Chausson claim victories. Fabien Barel and Vanessa Quin earned their rainbow stripes at the 2004 World Championships held there. After a brief hiatus, Les Gets returned to the World Cup calendar in 2019 and has remained a key stop, known for its challenging terrain, stunning alpine views, and passionate French crowd.
Both venues will offer expo areas and live music, creating a festive atmosphere for spectators. The 2025 event also provides a preview of the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships, which will take place in Haute-Savoie, following the multi-discipline format first introduced in Glasgow in 2023.
