A new skateboarding and BMX arena will open in Guernsey this Saturday at a former swimming pool.
The Pool House is located on the site of the old, unused St Andrews School swimming pool in St Andrew.
The design of the arena includes movable parts, allowing for flexible layouts with different routes, jumps, ramps, and rails.
Tim Gaudion, Guernsey’s skateboard development officer, said the arena is intended to offer a safe and exciting environment for both beginners and experienced riders.
The project received £14,400 in funding from the Guernsey Social Investment Fund.
The arena will officially open at 12:30 GMT.
