Mack Manietta had a standout performance at the Cannonball MTB Festival in Thredbo, Australia, securing four wins in as many events.
Competing in the U15 age category, Manietta triumphed in the Australian Open Downhill, finishing with a time of 5:37.227—nearly five seconds ahead of his nearest competitor, Joey Keynes, who clocked 5:42.516.
Ashton Borthwick-Higgs took third place with a time of 5:50.213, despite Manietta crashing near the track’s end.
The young rider also impressed with his aerial skills, winning the Deity Whip-Off and claiming a $1500 prize. He beat Tom Young, who earned $1000, and Aiden Dean, who took home $750.
In the Fox Flow Motion Cup, Manietta continued his dominance, winning with a time of 8:10.814. Reid Armstrong finished second at 8:24.653, and Taj Thornton took third with 8:25.216.
Finally, Manietta secured a victory in the dual slalom final, overcoming Braxton Bull for the top spot.
Manietta’s impressive start with the Generation Specialized Development Team is backed by mentorship from mountain biking icon Finn Iles, marking a promising future for the young rider.
