BELLA VISTA, Ark. — Northwest Arkansas is set to expand its biking infrastructure with a new chairlift-served downhill mountain bike park. OZ Trails has announced plans for the park, which will be located at the junction of Bella Vista and Bentonville along Highway 71.
The OZ Trails Bike Park will feature more than 20 miles of gravity trails. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2025. The park will integrate a state-of-the-art Poma-Leitner high-speed chairlift system.
This will provide year-round lift access for riders of all skill levels. The facility will connect to the existing OZ Trails network.

Tom Walton, CEO of Runway Group, emphasized the park’s integration with the OZ Trails network. He said the park will strengthen the connection between Bella Vista and Bentonville, establishing both communities as premier global cycling destinations. Bella Vista Mayor John Flynn said the park is a pivotal moment for outdoor recreation in the city. The park’s location at the crossroads of existing trail networks will solidify Bella Vista as a key destination for cycling infrastructure.
The project team includes Hufft (architecture), Crafton Tull (engineering), and Gravity Logic and Rock Solid (trail design and construction).
