The iFly Indoor Skydiving facility in El Paso, closed for several months, is set to reopen with new corporate ownership. Originally launched as a franchise in 2019, the facility will now be managed directly by iFly Indoor Skydiving. The reopening is scheduled for the first quarter of 2025 after undergoing a refurbishment.

Matthew Ryan, CEO of iFly, expressed excitement about the reopening, emphasizing the company’s commitment to strengthening community connections and offering top-notch indoor skydiving experiences for both newcomers and seasoned flyers. This move is part of iFly’s broader strategy to expand its global network, which includes over 100 locations.

The facility is located in the Montecillo Smart Growth Community in West El Paso, a mixed-use development that encourages walkability and community engagement. The reopening follows negotiations between iFly’s corporate team, the previous franchise owners, and local landlords. The closure was caused by disputes over property appraisals and other franchise-related issues.

Customers who had booked sessions during the closure will have the option for refunds or rescheduling. More details about the reopening and new offerings will be shared in the near future.
