Boyce Park’s slopes will open for the 2024-25 season on Friday, Allegheny County announced Thursday.
Located just 20 minutes from Downtown Pittsburgh, Boyce Park will welcome skiers and snowboarders for the season. However, the opening of the snow tubing area has been postponed.
The lodge, situated at 901 Centerview Drive in Plum, will operate under the following schedule:
Weekdays: 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Saturdays: 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sundays: 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Lift ticket prices vary:
Weekdays: $15 for Allegheny County residents, $19 for non-residents.
Weekends and holidays: $20 for county residents, $25 for non-residents.
Children under 5 ride free.
Rental equipment, including skis or snowboard, boots, poles, and helmet, is available for $20 for residents and $25 for non-residents. Lockers are available for $1.
Tickets and private lessons can be purchased online in advance. Private lessons are priced at $40 for county residents and $50 for non-residents. Group lessons cost $25 for residents and $31 for non-residents. Each lesson lasts one hour and is available for those 7 years old and up.
The season is expected to run through mid-March, weather and conditions permitting.
