Mountain bike world champion Tomáš Slavík recently tackled the challenges of Amman’s seven iconic hills. This adventure was made possible through a partnership with Jordan Ahli Bank and the Jordan Tourism Board (Visit Jordan). Slavík, a four-time world champion, aimed to showcase the stunning landscapes and difficult terrains of the Jordanian capital.
The hills of Amman provided an ideal setting for Slavík’s latest endeavor. Starting from the ancient Citadel at Jabal al-Qala’a, he navigated through the vibrant streets of Jabal Amman, facing various obstacles along the way. The journey featured a mix of steep climbs, breathtaking views, and significant cultural landmarks, making it a perfect course for any athlete.
During his ride, Slavík visited notable sites such as the Roman Amphitheater, the Citadel, and Souq Jara. His adventure was not just about biking; it also highlighted cultural exploration and adventure sports. A cinematic video documenting his experience was directed by Canadian filmmaker Benoit Lalande.
This challenge reflects Slavík’s commitment to inspiring people of all ages to embrace outdoor activities and push their limits in new ways.
