This exciting event will take place at the Wealthy Street Theatre in East Grand Rapids on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, with tickets available for eager attendees.
The “TREW To You” film project features ten teams from across North America vying for the audience’s vote to win a grand prize of $15,000. The Michigan team’s film highlights the local snowboarding culture, featuring familiar backdrops from the Grand Rapids area. It captures the creativity and resourcefulness required to film in Michigan’s unique winter landscape, evoking nostalgia for classic snowboard and skateboard films from the 1990s.

As the films compete for audience votes, they will be accessible online, encouraging Michigan snow enthusiasts to support their local talent.
The event promises an array of short films from ten dynamic teams of skiers and snowboarders, all contending for the coveted $15,000 prize. Attendees will have the chance to win gear from TREW Gear, Hestra Gloves, Pit Viper, Fifty Fifty bottles, and more, with all raffle proceeds benefiting the Chill Foundation.
