LifeStraw, a public health B Corp and Climate Neutral Certified brand, has announced the launch of two innovative products designed to enhance everyday access to clean drinking water. The new LifeStraw Home Studio Water Filter Dispenser (10-cup) and LifeStraw Home High-Capacity Water Filter Dispenser (35-cup) are engineered to filter out harmful contaminants, including bacteria, parasites, microplastics, PFAS, and lead, while significantly improving the taste of tap water.

“We’re thrilled to expand our Home Collection with these versatile filtration solutions tailored for smaller living spaces such as dorms and apartments, as well as homes and offices,” said LifeStraw CEO Alison Hill. “Our advanced water filtration technology outperforms leading competitors by removing over 30 contaminants, including bacteria, while dramatically enhancing the flavor of tap water.”

The LifeStraw Home Studio Water Filter Dispenser is designed for compact spaces and comes in six vibrant colors, priced at $54.95. This 10-cup dispenser fits comfortably in small refrigerators and on countertops, providing a cute yet functional solution for water filtration.

On the other hand, the LifeStraw Home High-Capacity Water Filter Dispenser is priced at $84.95 and boasts a Scandinavian-inspired design. This 35-cup model not only elevates kitchen aesthetics but also delivers powerful filtration capabilities. Available in two modern colors, it can be paired with an optional wooden stand ($39.95) to enhance its stylish look.

Key features of both dispensers include:

  • Effective Filtration: They are the only water filter dispensers that effectively remove bacteria, parasites, and microplastics, while also reducing lead, mercury, and harmful chemicals, including PFAS.
  • Improved Taste: They eliminate the need for single-use plastic bottled water by enhancing the flavor of tap water.
  • Dual Filtration Technology:
    • The LifeStraw Membrane Microfilter removes 99.999999% of bacteria, 99.999% of parasites, and 99.999% of microplastics. Each filter can process up to 1,000 liters of water and lasts for about a year with regular use.
    • The LifeStraw Activated Carbon + Ion Exchange Filter reduces heavy metals, chlorine, and chemical contaminants, filtering up to 150 liters of water over approximately two months.

Both products have been rigorously tested in independent laboratories and meet several safety and performance standards, including those set by NSF for the reduction of lead and contaminants.

As part of its mission, for every LifeStraw product purchased, a child in need receives safe drinking water for a year. “At LifeStraw, we harness the power of innovation to create positive change, combining design, technology, and social impact,” Hill added.
