The Snowbound Expo, New England’s largest ski and snowboard show, is gearing up to return to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from November 15-17, 2024. This highly anticipated event will gather thousands of skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, families, and outdoor adventurers to officially kick off the winter season.
Attendees can explore over 150 brands and resorts while enjoying a host of winter-themed activities and presentations from a lineup of industry experts, renowned athletes, and Olympic champions. “We’re thrilled to bring back the Snowbound Expo this year, providing a vibrant space for skiing and snowboarding fans,” stated Stephen Morgan, Managing Director of the event. “From the Indoor Megaslope to our impressive array of speakers, there’s something for everyone to look forward to.”
The expo will feature an exciting roster of speakers, including Olympic snowboarder Todd Richards, award-winning broadcaster Dan Egan, and top-ranked American downhill skier Alice Merryweather. This year’s expo highlights include:
- The Mega Indoor Slope: An indoor skiing and snowboarding slope for beginners and enthusiasts alike, staffed with professional coaches who will provide insights on building confidence in winter sports. Adaptive rigs will also be available for visitors with disabilities.
- Toyota Music Den Unplugged by Vail Resorts: A retro airstream lounge featuring live DJs, guest speaker talks, and a relaxed atmosphere for attendees to unwind between activities.
- Trampoline Show: Watch skilled athletes perform impressive stunts and tricks on trampolines, showcasing their athletic prowess in this returning feature.
- Apres Ski and Alpine Bars: IKON Pass holders can enjoy a Happy Hour from 5-6 PM on Friday and Saturday, while the Harpoon Brewery booth will offer beer and games throughout the weekend.
