The BCDC Alpha’s unique Start Battery Recovery feature can restore a flat start battery in as little as 15 minutes, setting it apart as the only DC-DC charger capable of both charging and recovering start batteries. Additionally, its optimized solar charging capability directs excess energy to the start battery as needed, ensuring it remains fully charged. Compatible with all common automotive battery types, the BCDC Alpha also includes customizable input current limiting to safeguard vehicle alternators, making it ideal for hybrid and electric vehicles. This ‘EV ready’ feature ensures that the BCDC Alpha meets the evolving power requirements of modern transportation.
Installation has been simplified through Bluetooth-enabled setup using the RedVision app, which allows users to monitor the battery charger’s status, temperature, and overall system performance. Over-the-air software updates keep the system adaptable to new features and functionalities. With user-friendly pushbutton controls and screw connections, the BCDC Alpha minimizes the need for complex wiring or soldering, significantly reducing setup time and the potential for errors.
