In this role, Mason will provide strategic direction to help drive the company’s ambitious growth plans in the coming years.
Mason’s appointment underscores Astral’s commitment to becoming the preferred vendor for its retail partners. With his extensive industry experience, he will be instrumental in cultivating and enhancing long-term relationships with key partners while optimizing sales performance across all product categories.

With a robust background in sales and marketing, Mason began his career in the 1990s managing a paddlesports outfitter and retail operation in Crested Butte. He has since held leadership positions in sales teams and strategies at prominent outdoor brands, including Oboz, Dakine, Petzl, Deuter, and Sitka. His successful track record in team leadership and relationship-building within the industry will significantly benefit Astral as it looks to grow.
Mason resides in Bozeman, Montana, with his wife and two sons. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast, regularly engaging in activities across rivers, trails, and mountain landscapes.
