Mark Zuckerberg took a unique approach to celebrating the Fourth of July, hitting the waves in style.

On Thursday, the 40-year-old Meta founder and CEO marked Independence Day by posting a video on Instagram that shows him surfing in a tuxedo while holding the U.S. flag.

In the now-viral clip, Zuckerberg appears to sip a beer as he rides the waves to the tune of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic 1984 hit, “Born in the U.S.A.”

“Happy birthday, America!” the Facebook CEO captioned the post.

This celebration follows a similar stunt three years ago when Zuckerberg shared a video of himself wakeboarding while holding a U.S. flag, accompanied by John Denver’s classic 1971 song, “Take Me Home, Country Roads.” That clip was captioned, “Happy July 4th!”

Last year, Zuckerberg chose a more family-oriented celebration, sharing a charming photo on Instagram with his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, and their three daughters: 15-month-old Aurelia, 6-year-old August, and 8-year-old Maxima.
