Aspen Skiing Company (SkiCo) is gearing up to build around 30 new employee housing units in Snowmass Village, according to Vice President Heather Henry.

Henry announced the project at a Snowmass Town Council meeting, emphasizing SkiCo’s commitment to meeting local housing needs. While still in early stages, this initiative is part of SkiCo’s broader strategy that includes renovating the Lynn Britt Cabin at Snowmass Ski Area.

The proposed housing units, located on SkiCo-owned property on Divide Road, would exceed town requirements for employee housing linked to the Lynn Britt Cabin expansion. A pre-application is ready, and further details will be discussed in upcoming meetings with town officials.

Additionally, SkiCo plans to expand and upgrade the Lynn Britt Cabin by adding new facilities and creating an outdoor dining deck with a mobile bar and grill. Construction is expected to align with ongoing improvements in the area.

These developments aim to enhance employee accommodation and visitor amenities, reflecting SkiCo’s ongoing commitment to Snowmass Village.
