CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga School of the Arts and Science (CSAS) rock climbing team took home the District Championship title this season, showcasing their strength, skill, and determination.
In addition to the team victory, CSAS athletes also claimed top individual honors, securing two of the top three spots in the competition. Ryan Wilson finished in first place, while Dean Williamson and Ryan Templeton took third and fourth, respectively.
Ron Nance, Head Coach of the CSAS Rock Climbing Team, praised the team’s focus and sportsmanship. “While I’ve enjoyed coaching all of our climbing teams over the past 12 years, the 2024/25 teams have been the most focused, hardworking, and fun group of athletes I’ve ever coached. It was rewarding to see their dedication to both their craft and sportsmanship, leading to perfect seasons,” he said.
Congratulations to the team for their outstanding performance!
