CHATTANOOGA, TN — The Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences (CSAS) Rock Climbing Team has made a commanding statement this season, capturing district titles in both the middle school and high school categories. The victories reflect the school’s growing strength in competitive climbing and the dedication of its athletes at every level.
The middle school team’s win is a result of consistent training, strong teamwork, and determination. Meanwhile, the high school team not only claimed the District Championship but also stood out in the individual rankings, with CSAS climbers taking three of the top four spots.
Ryan Wilson led the high school team with a first-place finish, followed by Dean Williamson in third and Ryan Templeton in fourth. Their performances demonstrated the team’s technical skill and competitive drive, helping to solidify CSAS’s reputation as a district leader in the sport.
“This year’s group has been the most focused, hardworking, and fun team I’ve had the pleasure to coach in my 12 years with the program,” said Head Coach Ron Nance. “It was incredibly rewarding to see their commitment and sportsmanship lead to a perfect season.”
With these victories, CSAS continues to build on its legacy as a climbing powerhouse, setting a high bar for excellence in the district.
