ORONO, Maine (WABI) — Clara White of Orono has earned the title of New England Nordic Skiing Champion.
Reflecting on her successful season, which also included a Class C State title, White credited her coaches and teammates for their support. “Honestly, my coaches are a huge help all through the season with great training and great preparation. I honestly couldn’t have done it without my coaches or my teammates. They always just make it so much fun,” said White, a junior.

The New England Championship took place this past weekend at Rumford’s Black Mountain.

As she looks ahead, White is excited to enjoy her senior season and continue having fun after such a successful year.
