The FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup is set to make its return to Erzurum, Türkiye, this weekend, marking the first time the event has been held there since 2018. The competition will feature individual men’s and women’s races, as well as the debut of the mixed team event for the 2024/25 season.

Qualification: Friday, February 28, at 11:20 local time (09:20 CET)
Individual Finals: Saturday, March 1, starting at 13:30 local time (11:30 CET)
Team Finals: Sunday, March 2, at 13:30 local time (11:30 CET)
Notable Athletes
Several top athletes who competed in Erzurum in 2018 are returning, including Omar Visintin (ITA), who won the men’s event, and Alessandro Haemmerle (AUT), who finished third. On the women’s side, Michela Moioli (ITA) and current World Cup leader Charlotte Bankes (GBR) will be competing again. Bankes holds a strong lead in the standings, 65 points ahead of Lea Casta (FRA), following victories in Cortina d’Ampezzo and Beidahu.
Eliot Grondin (CAN) leads the men’s standings with a 125-point advantage over Aidan Chollet (FRA), despite a recent setback in Cortina. The event promises to be exciting, with top athletes vying for World Cup points in the snowboard cross discipline.
