Minnesota’s Wilde Bicycle Co. is set to host the First Annual Midwest Mountain Bike Fest, taking place from June 20-22, 2025, in Cuyuna, Minnesota. This non-competitive, community-centered event will bring together mountain bike enthusiasts from all over, celebrating the camaraderie and culture of the sport. The festival will be held on the renowned Cuyuna trail system, offering over 60 miles of iconic red dirt singletrack, alongside picturesque lakes and stunning views.
The event aims to foster friendship, skill development, and support for local trails. Attendees will have the opportunity to demo bikes, enhance their riding skills, and participate in various activities suitable for all levels—from beginners to seasoned riders.
“We’re creating a new kind of cycling event—one rooted in community and stewardship, not competition. It’s a chance to unite the riding community for an unforgettable weekend,” said Event Director Jeff Frane. “This is going to be a classic dirt party on some of the best trails around.”
Fundraising Efforts for Local Trails
In addition to the fun-filled activities, the Midwest Mountain Bike Fest will also support the local trail system through fundraising initiatives. A portion of the funds raised will go to the Cuyuna MTB Crew, a dedicated group of local trail stewards and advocates responsible for the area’s world-class mountain bike trails. $10 from every festival pass sold will be donated to the Cuyuna MTB Crew.
Additionally, New Belgium’s “Pints for a Purpose” event will contribute to the cause. For every pint of Fat Tire sold during the festival, $1 will be donated to support the Cuyuna MTB Crew’s efforts.
