Verbier, Switzerland – Faction Skis has unveiled its highly anticipated 2024-25 collection, merging high-performance engineering with artistic innovation. This new lineup showcases an impressive array of ski models and vibrant artwork updates to its celebrated classics, embodying Faction’s dedication to both quality and creativity.
The collection features notable updates to the acclaimed flat-tail Dancer Series, which now sports refreshed artwork and colorways. Except for the Dancer 4, all models offer dual color options and various lengths, catering to diverse preferences and maintaining consistent construction across colorways. This unisex design ensures that freeskiers can choose both the color and length that best fit their style.
The Studio Series, known for its premium twin-tip design, has significantly expanded from two to five models. This range now includes the pipe and park-focused Studio 0 and 1, as well as the all-mountain and freeride-oriented Studio 2, 3, and 4. The collection also introduces the Prodigy Series, renowned for its durability thanks to reinforced rubber and carbon features. This series, with its retro gaming-inspired artwork by Parade Studio, is described as ‘skiing’s cheat code’ for its user-friendly progression.
New to the lineup is the Prodigy Capsule, featuring three models adorned with hand-illustrated designs by Elsa Grace, each celebrating unique bioregions across the United States. The collection highlights Faction’s commitment to sustainability, incorporating locally sourced and recycled materials in the skis’ topsheets, bases, and sidewalls. Most of the skis are crafted in a factory powered entirely by renewable energy, underscoring Faction’s B Corp™ certification and eco-conscious ethos.
The 2024-25 collection will be highlighted in a multi-part film series this fall, featuring Faction’s athletes and their development stories. This season will also see the release of exclusive limited-edition skis, designed in collaboration with Faction’s prominent athletes, who collectively hold nine Winter Olympic medals, numerous X Games and World Cup accolades, and a Freeride World Tour title.
