Portsmouth City Council has announced a range of exciting events, including skateboarding sessions, DJ lessons, and outdoor cinema screenings, all tailored specifically for children aged 11 to 16.
The council’s initiative, made possible through the Household Support Fund, aims to provide accessible and enjoyable experiences for all children in the city, regardless of their financial background. With free meals and bus tickets included for attendees, the program ensures that no one is left out of the fun.
On August 28, kids can head to Pitt Street Skatepark on Commercial Road for a free skateboarding session from 11 am to 2 pm. All necessary equipment will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own skates if they prefer.
