In a remarkable display of talent, American skateboarders Jagger Eaton and Nyjah Huston clinched medals in the skateboarding street event at the Paris Olympics on Monday.
Jagger Eaton, who previously won bronze at the Tokyo Olympics, showcased a significant improvement by earning the silver medal in Paris. Eaton delivered an impressive performance with a final score of 281.04, narrowly missing out on gold by just 0.10 points. The gold medal was retained by Japan’s Yuto Horigome, who demonstrated his prowess by achieving a total score of 281.14.
Nyjah Huston, who had a seventh-place finish in Tokyo, rebounded strongly with a bronze medal performance in Paris. Huston recorded a total of 279.38, highlighting his resilience and skill in the competitive skateboarding arena.
Horigome’s final trick was a standout moment, as he executed a jaw-dropping score of 97.08 to secure his place as the sole skateboarder to win gold in this event, reinforcing his dominance in the sport.
