Nike SB has unveiled its latest collaboration, designed in partnership with skater and architect Alexis Sablone, showcasing a special collection for Japan’s national skateboarding team ahead of this year’s Olympic Games in Paris. This collection fuses workwear-inspired aesthetics with Nike’s cutting-edge performance technology, delivering a stylish and functional range of apparel for the athletes.
The centerpiece of the collection is the Dri-FIT ADV Short-Sleeve Jersey, featuring advanced sweat-wicking fabric and a series of unique thematic elements. The front of the jersey prominently displays Nike SB branding alongside a woven patch depicting Mount Fuji, embellished with koi fish and cherry blossoms. Below the collar, the Japanese flag is subtly integrated, while Roman numeral graphics and the words “JAPAN” and “SKATE” are stylishly positioned on the sleeve cuffs.
The collection also includes a striking Short-Sleeve Button-Up Bowler Shirt in red, highlighted by a large embroidered koi fish on the back. Complementing this are a tan sport polo and a black pullover hoodie, each with distinct Japanese-themed accents. The full range extends to t-shirts and overalls, providing a comprehensive selection for fans and athletes alike.
Nike SB’s collection for Japan’s national skateboarding team is now available for purchase through Nike’s online store in select regions. Pricing starts at ¥9,680 JPY (approximately $62 USD) for the Fleece Pullover Hoodie and reaches up to ¥22,330 JPY (approximately $142 USD) for the Dri-FIT ADV Short-Sleeve Jersey.
