DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth’s ambitious initiatives to establish itself as a premier mountain biking destination have garnered statewide recognition.
The Minnesota Recreation and Parks Association recently bestowed its prestigious Award of Excellence upon the Duluth Parks and Recreation team.
The award recognizes Duluth’s proactive efforts, particularly through its ‘Youth On Trails’ program, aimed at encouraging city residents to explore mountain biking.
In the past year alone, the ‘Youth On Trails’ initiative successfully engaged over 300 children in biking activities across Duluth’s extensive trail network, offering 37 distinct programs.
