Evolve Skateboards founders Jeff and Fleur Anning have secured a stunning four-level beachfront home in Burleigh Heads for $5.65 million, marking a significant acquisition in their entrepreneurial journey.

Originally from the Gold Coast, the Annings redirected proceeds from their previous property sale into their electric skateboard startup, which has since achieved global acclaim, distributing its innovative products across 40 countries. Notably, their entrepreneurial success allowed them to sell their Cabarita Beach mansion earlier this year for a record-breaking $14.05 million in northern NSW.

The Annings’ new residence, celebrated for its panoramic ocean views and described as having “Burleigh’s best view,” was acquired after a successful bid in February’s auction. The property features expansive living spaces ideal for a large family, situated in a private and elevated location on Burleigh Hill. According to coastal marketing agent Ed Cherry, the home’s appeal lies in its proximity to Burleigh Heads’ vibrant cafes and restaurants while offering tranquility and stunning vistas.

The luxurious four-bedroom home spans multiple levels, highlighted by a modern kitchen, renovated bathrooms, and an array of entertainment spaces including a kitchenette, bar, games lounge, and media room. Additional amenities such as a lift, wine cellar, gas fireplace, and poolside retreat further enhance its appeal.

Despite a slight 3.6% decline in Burleigh Heads’ median house prices over the past year, demand remains robust in this sought-after southern Gold Coast locale, where only 33 houses have changed hands in the current year, underscoring a limited supply amidst high demand.

This acquisition not only underscores the Annings’ entrepreneurial success but also solidifies their investment in one of the Gold Coast’s most coveted residential areas, combining luxury living with unparalleled coastal views.
