According to the weather service, residents and visitors can anticipate large breaking waves ranging from 4 to 7 feet along the surf zone. These conditions are expected to create dangerous swimming and surfing circumstances, as well as localized beach erosion. The weather service strongly advises inexperienced swimmers to avoid entering the water due to the hazardous surf conditions.
